The Thing About Sydney

The Thing About Sydney

Having Sydney on my itinerary is something I could never have imagined – it’s what dreams are made of. For years I’ve owned calendars and posters featuring the Sydney Opera House and The Harbour Bridge on my bedroom wall, never imagining I’d ever see them with my own eyes. As I write this; it’s been over a month since I stood outside the Opera House and watched the breathtakingly beautiful firework display off the Harbour Bridge, and even now, I still don’t think it’s sunk in. The purpose of our visit was for New Years Eve – again, something I never, ever thought was possible and a story I will never tire of telling. However, although I only spent a few days in this incredibly city – here is the things about Sydney…

The Thing About Melbourne

The Thing About Melbourne

I’ve heard so much about Melbourne since we first arrived in Australia, so I couldn’t wait to see what the fuss was about. We visited on a cloudy, yet humid, Sunday afternoon not really expecting too much. However, these gardens ended up being one of our favourite experiences thus far.

Incredible Sunset at The Glass House Mountains

Incredible Sunset at The Glass House Mountains

On the way down to the Sunshine Coast last week, we were greeted by incredible views of three mountains in the distance. We had no idea what they were, but we knew we’d have to take a trip and discover what they were. The Glass House Mountains haven’t been mentioned to us before. If it wasn’t for travelling to Mooloolaba, it’s likely we would never have known about this gorgeous spot just off the motorway.
